Bird & Gorton
We specialise in empowering cultural leaders, universities, creative organisations and cities to develop collaborative ways of working and innovative new programmes.
Design and delivery of leadership experiences, user-led strategies, and impact research are particular specialisms. We bring together experienced teams from across digital, heritage, research, and arts producing to imagine new and better solutions with our clients.
We are both Clore Fellows and qualified leadership coaches, with more than 15 years of experience working across the cultural sector in the UK. Drawing on work with NASA and IDEO, we use Agile and Design Thinking approaches to provide strategic consultancy, training, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring.
Clients include the Clore Leadership Programme, King's College London, the National Alliance for Arts in Criminal Justice, and Royal Opera House Bridge.
Current projects include the design of a 10-year Cultural Statement and Framework for Nottingham, working with the city's Strategic Cultural Partnership, businesses, arts organisations, universities, and citizens.
