AHRC Research into Digital Arts Leadership

In 2016, I led an AHRC-funded research project as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Warwick, looking at how to develop digital leadership in the cultural sector. This included interviewing leaders at MoMA, the RSC, Civil Service Learning, Arts Council England, and Vitsoe.

International Research & Symposium, Clore Leadership Programme

Working with Hannah Bird, I am researching and developing plans for a global research project for cultural leaders, to culminate in an international symposium in 2018.

Porthcurno Telegraph Museum

I supported the Telegraph Museum as Interim Director of this inspiring technology museum in Cornwall, providing strategic consultancy while they recruited a new Director. Porthcurno is where many transatlantic submarine telegraph cables came ashore, and the museum's collections include working telegraph machinery, photographic archives, and artworks.

The Guardian Space, London

Working with the Editorial and Membership teams at The Guardian, I developed the creative vision, partnerships and programming plans for this new cultural venue in King's Cross in 2015. You can find out more about the project here.

Oxford Light Festival

100,000 people attended this free arts festival, which I developed and directed in 2013. Programming took place in St Giles and at more than 20 venues across Oxford, England. Partners included the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford Contemporary Music, Ian Nolan Events, Arts Council England, and Oxford City Council.

The Old Museum at the Museum of Oxford

I led the development of this new cultural venue and the capital development of the Museum of Oxford, to feature programming inspired by the Museum's collections and the historic Grade II Listed Oxford Town Hall. Partners included HLF, Oxford Playhouse, OCM, and OVADA.
